Cemetery Distribution Interactive Map

One of the interesting aspects of looking at gravestones in an area's gravesites is the discovery of multiple stones that appear to come from the hand of the same carver. By looking at the proximity of the gravesites where like stones appear, you get some idea of that carver's distribution area.

The following map is designed to help facilitate this discovery process for the stones in this site's orginal collection. Moving your cursor over any element of the map will give you, after a few moments, information about the area you are in. If you click on the (the gravesite icon) it will take you to the first page of the gravestones from that site. This map is not to scale, but the icons are placed at the approximate location of the gravesites in each county.
