"Here rests in death the body of Conrad Bucher, a preacher for 12 years in Lebanon. He was born on the 10th of June, 1730. He and his wife of 20 years, Magdalena, beget 8 children, 4 of whom went before him into eternity. He died on the 15th day of August, 1780. His glorius life covered 50 years, 2 months and 5 days."
